The truck has a powerful engine with just enough noise to let you know youre driving a truck. Suspension and interior features provides the driver and passenger with a cozy ride. The Silverado has a lot of options that are fun and functional. All in all, a great truck.

This is my first Diesel to buy am I am very pleased with it. I dont have a worry in the world when I travel and its great in town to. I get on average between highway and town 16.5 miles to the gallon. The Allison transmission is great also. Its definately a selling point.

I have owned the Chevy 2500hd for about six months and I have not had any problems with this truck whatsoever. I think the towing power of this truck is second to none and have no problems pulling a trailer loaded with 400gal of water and barrels loaded with soaping solutions for my business. I also have an industrial grade power washing unit bolted down in my trailer with weight totlaing about 3 tons when loaded for jobs. This truck pulls the trailer like its not even there. I also plow accounts with the truck and have no problem doing this either, even when the snow is a foot high or better. Overall I have had good luck with this truck and never thought that I would own CHEVY not Ford..

I have owned this truck for over three years and it is my second Duramax. If you do proper maintenance these trucks will last a very long time. I have over 600,000 miles on my first Duramax and its getting tired, and I just dont trust it real far anymore although I still drive it around the farm and into town. I drive my trucks very hard and I do not have time for breakdowns, so if you are looking for a hard working truck that will last look no further, Chevy has outdone themselves.

purchased new and now have 3,500 miles on the odometer. love the 6.0 vortec, has great power through out the rpm range. tows my atvs and trailer like nothing!! the 410 limited slip is great for my back woods hunting. even though it is 2500HD, it will take you alot of places in 4 low. (i opted for the manuel shift transfer case which i love!) and still acts great on the open road. buddy has a 2003 f-150 and another a 2002 dodge, this vortec blows both of those boat anchors away! good job chevy!!

The HD model rides quite well and has good power. The interior is comfortable and looks good, but does need more useable storage space and more cup holders. The truck has been trouble free for two years now

This is an excellent truck, I have the duramax allison combo and get 18-20 mpg just cant complain for an almost 8,000lb truck. I pull campers all over US and Canada and have 176,000 miles on it as of now and have had no problems. I have heard of people saying that the LLY duramax have overheating issues but I have pulled over 26,000lbs in over 100 degrees and have no overheating issues what so ever. Of course I drive easy in those temps with that much weight. I love this truck and it has paid for itself three times over. Keep up the good work Chevrolet.
